ItвЂ™s entertaining in a devilishly frustrating kind of way, as you constantly try to find ways to get past impossible situations. You can distract soldiers by throwing bags of money, disguise a character as a beggar, lure enemies into traps, distract them with whistles and so on. The amount of detail is as exhaustive as ever, and youвЂ™re constantly learning new things you can do, ways to manipulate the environment and abilities to exploit. But this is still a highly tactical puzzle game where, as always, a tremendous amount of patience is required to get past even the earliest levels. To make this close-range combat a more integral part of the gameplay, you can perform different types of sword swing by making shapes with your mouse. The concept works rather well, despite the obvious lack of guns, with the bow and arrow working as some sort of sniper rifle and a greater emphasis on hand to hand combat. Thankfully, this Robin is more Errol Flynn than Kevin Costner, and the gameвЂ™s colourful design and light-heartedness give it a certain charm. But building a Commandos-type game around cowboys is one thing itвЂ™s quite another to do the same with Robin Hood. While Bloodlines remains on sale at Direct2Drive though, it's worth buying it from there if you want to save a few bucks.Commandos was one of the biggest hits ever in Germany, so itвЂ™s not surprising that they've turned the hard-as-nails puzzle-based strategy gameplay into an industry of its own, started by developer Spellbound and its excellent game Desperados. This out-of-print gem seems to be sold *everywhere* now.except GOG! For a DD service that seems to mostly peddle in obscure strategy titles and goofy adventure games, having Bloodlines show up on their roster is a bit bizarre. They're as DRM-free as GOG, just without the polish or extra goodies of this site. I've bought three games from them (Robin Hood: Legend of Sherwood, Post Mortem, Still Life).

I may still wait for GOG to have it just because I had an easy time using it in the past.Д®dit: a bit a confused because the site says the game isn't compatible with xp 64 bit isn't that the same problem as windows 7 64 bit? But like I said on the top of the site it says compatible with xp, vista, 7, and 32 and 64 bit systems.

Not that I care that much, even though I played my share of PC games I don't think I ever used mods. Did they use the fan patch? If not, wondering if this effects modding at all. One thing though, if Dotemu makes it so Vampire Bloodlines is compatible with windows 7, I wonder how they did it. If anyone gets it from Dotemu tell us how it is! In the middle of playing NWN2 right now (on act three and going to then play mask of the betrayer) When I'm done tempted to buy the game on Dotemu. One thing I noticed about the vamprie bloodlines page is that is actualy says the game is windows 7 compatible! o_O Even though, steam and d2d are charging only 14 dollars now since Dotemu has no DRM AND if they made it so it would be compaitble on windows 7 64 bit then I'm really tempted.
